Reliable Woodworks was started in 1991 by Josh Airheart. In the beginning specializing in small repairs, additions of sunrooms and porches, and small woodwork projects such as mantels, custom trim, and furniture. After obtaining our contractor license, we begin building residential custom homes. While Josh enjoyed the custom home building, he realized he enjoyed the challenge of custom historic remodeling. The company became incorporated as Reliable Woodworks, Inc. and focuses primarily in the residential construction field.
Over the years, we have enjoyed many jobs that have challenged our company. We have restored many of the beautiful homes on Union Street in downtown Concord including the original Joe Cannon home. We have just completed a restoration and addition on one of the oldest homes in Concord, originally belonging to Jacob Stirewalt and currently owned by Mr. and Mrs. Larry Hinsdale. In addition to historic remodels, we have built many custom homes, boat houses, barns and garages.
We have experience in the commercial construction. Reliable Woodworks constructed the Concord Children Clinic in Concord, NC for Dr. Hement Prakash. The building was built with additional space that could be leased. The leased phase was then up fitted for Mecklenburg Neurology.

Since our beginning, the company has evolved and grown, both in size and stature, to become a recognized contractor in the area. We have been in business for 21 years.
